Midwest Imports, Ltd. was founded in 1976 and began importing Haco Swiss soups, bases and sauces.  Building on that foundation, Midwest Imports added two premier Swiss product lines, Hero-Swiss and Felchlin, along with other select specialty items for the culinary professional.

In 1991, two childhood friends, Mike Ostrowski and Frank Jurkowski, purchased the company.  Since then we have followed their vision to offer our customers the finest products and service available.  

Thanks to our customers we have outgrown our warehouse in Chicago’s South Loop, and are moving to a larger facility in suburban Hillside.  Our new building will allow us to better serve our growing customer base.
